Jordan Brand Black Community Commitment Community Grants Program Guidelines
Facilitated by Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, the first Community Grants Program cycle will open for 30 day beginning March 31, 2021 and will end on April 30, 2021. All completed applications submitted by organizations with a mission or programs that align with one of the focus areas will be reviewed by an advisory committee comprised of members from the Jordan Brand and Michael Jordan Family Office teams.
Our Black Community Commitment focus areas:
- Education and Awareness
- Social Justice
- Economic Justice
Dollar General Foundation Youth Literacy Grants
Schools, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations who help students that are below grade level or having trouble reading are eligible to apply. Grant funding is provided to assist in the following areas:
- Implementing new or expanding existing literacy programs
- Purchasing new technology or equipment to support literacy initiatives
- Purchasing books, materials or software for literacy programs
Deadline to apply: May 20, 2021 (by 10 pm CST)
Grant announcement: September 6, 2021
Maximum grant amount: $4,000
